This multi-week class is built for anyone who's ever filled a notebook margin, invented a character on a boring afternoon, or felt a story building up out of a single sketch. You don't need experience to walk through the door— just a spark and somewhere to take it.
In Comics Lab we dig into drawing, character design, and visual storytelling the way it was meant to be learned: by actually doing it. Each week, you'll learn a new concept or technique from industry pros to put into practice.
You might create a web comic, the beginnings of a graphic novel, a storyboard, or a picture book. You might walk out with a character that stops people in their tracks, a world that didn't exist before you made it, or something none of us saw coming. But every week, you'll build something new, and by the end of the course, you'll have something to show for it.
